    I was following this guide: How to Install Custom Firmware (CFW) on PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 | PSP Hacks

    And all was good until i got to step Five. the download link for HellCat's Recovery flasher was broken so i googled it and came up with this:
    Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.60 Download

    again. all was going good

    Although my PSP Screen does not look like that exactly.

    Instead it goes in this order:
    Target FW: 5.99 (X to cycle/change)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Install CFW (of version selected above)
    Install fresh CFW 1.50
    Flash/Restore complete FW from backup
    Backup Flash Content
    Cache special updater modules
    Restore: XMB theme related files
    Restore: Setting"
    Restore: PSN Store Activation
    and it looks the same as in the image above from there.
    I then follow the instructions:
    A brown screen menu will appear. Scroll down to Install M33 CFW and press X button.
    Then you will be asked if you want to reset your settings. Choose the first option (reset).
    I follow the instructions exactly but then i get a ERROR.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Installing firmware - PSP Model: Classic "FAT" PSP
    Updater used to extract FW: 500.PBP

    Unassigning flashes. . . .

    how do i get passed this and enjoy all the bells and whistles that come after it?

    Forget all that and simply update to 6.60. After your on 6.60, use this:6.60ME-1.6 (OFW Version) - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP Forum, Hack PSP, PSV Hacks, PS Vita Hack, PSVita

    FaustNero get mine from here. Self uploaded, and 500.pbp already inside. must've been a corrupted file.

    I researched and found all my answers and solutions. I put all the steps in this reply. Might help others. I have to say I didn't find all the files in this forum but google always helps. Thank you all for the valuable information published here.

    IMPORTANT: I didn't have to buy or use any pandora battery. Found everything in the internet.

    I have a PSP1001 (fat) which was already unlocked and working properly with CFW 3.52 M33-2. After reading many tutorials and threads I tried to rollback my PSP to OFW 1.5 to later update to 6.60. To do so, I used hellcats and got the same error this thread is reporting (ERROR 0x80020321). Now, my PSP is still with 3.52 M33-2 but my games are not opening anymore. So, here are the questions:
    1 - How do I fix this 0x80020321 error?
    2 - How do I update to lastest CFW version (I think it is the 6.60, right?!)? I mean, I'd like to use with my PS3 on the Playmemories app to see pictures and play movies. Does anyone tried using PSP lastest CFW with that PS3 app (playmemories)?

    Oh no... I just disconnect the PSP from my computer and it doesn't turn on anymore. The power led is green but no screen activity. I think it is bricked now. Any help?

    UPDATES: Be patient.. I'm getting some progress here. I decided to follow Pirate's guide supposing my PSP battery was "Pandorized" by mistake. So, I created the MMS and I was able to install the CFW 5.00 M33-4. At least now the PSP is up and running.

    But now I tried to move forward and install the 6.60 version but I get the error DRNFFFFFFCD.
    Pirate's guide says to look for an idstorage fix via DCv7/8 or Key Cleaner, but I cannot find those apps anywhere to download in this forum. Well.. I got from another forum.

    I ran Key Cleaner 1.4 and it found an error on the key 0x005. It was fixed but I'm still not able to update the PSP to any other CFW higher than 5.00 M33-4. Still getting the the DRNFFFFFFCD error.

    OK... I found the solution and might help others. I had to rerun the Key Cleaner 1.4 and unpatch the key 0x005 which was fixed before. (My PSP is a 1001 - board TA-082/86). That's because the key 0x005 was initially patched to allow my PSP to boot/initialize. I was able to update to 6.39 and later to 6.60.

    Finally.. all games working (.cso and .iso) and PS3 Remote Play worked properly as well. I was able to open my PS3 console through my PSP.
