Hey everyone! Thanks in advance for any help you can give me, I have been out of the loop with the PSP modding crowd for a while. My experience with it to start with was limited and by most peoples accounts I am still quite the newbie who just enjoys the work of other more skilled modders, so thanks for the patience. I am looking to snag a PSP 3000 just to play PSX roms on the go with. I still have all of my older roms that I brought over from physical media way back in the day. My main issue is figuring out which custom firmware I need and which PSP 3000 to downgrade. Googling and forum searches are bringing up all sorts of information from a very wide time span, so I am hoping people can clear it up for me. To be blunt:

1.What is the current PSP 3000 official firmware.

    2. What custom firmware does it need to be put on to run PSX emulators and roms.

    3. Can the current PSP 3000 bought retail be downgraded to the point it needs to be at, or do I need to find an older model?

    Thanks again!
