Original PSP from launch data, accidentally upgraded to 6.2 =[

here's the situation guys, I'm just some poor sap who has the undying urge to play some Pokemon Fire Red on his PSP, and maybe some N64 games too if it ain't too much trouble

problem is it seems like somewhere along the way I thought I was a real cool guy and updated to 6.2 thinking I was cool; but then realized I screwed up big time

so after searching Google and this forum and many others for almost an hour now, I have resorted to creating a thread

basically,

a) how do I go back to my original firmware

b) how do I get the emulator and roms on here for these 2 platforms and games =[

P.S. SCRATCH ALL OF THAT, I don't care about downgrading, I thought you had to do it, just how can I Get to the point where I can run GBA and N64 games?

how do I install emulators on it? do I need custom firmware?

Update to 6.60 and then use this:6.60ME-1.7(OFW Version) - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP Forum, Hack PSP, PSV Hacks, PS Vita Hack, PSVita

There are instructions with the download link. Place the "me installer" folder into your "GAME" folder which is in your "PSP" folder on your memory stick. Now go back to your PSP's XMB and look for it under your GAME icon. Run it and follow any on screen instructions and when it re-boots, you'll be on 6.60ME-1.7

Honestly there's no need to make this "personal," involve PETA, or really anything

I know enough to know that you kill some squirrels and are proud of it, and think it's some sort of a game to manipulate life and death over some innocent little dudes

Given that I live in the boondocks, I have some friends that hunt, shared them by thoughts, and they were like, "Wow Mark, you have some real good points there, I'm not gonna hunt anymore."
