Update PSP 3.41 OE to 6.39 ME

Can I directly update my PSP 1000 from 3.41 OE
to 6.39 ME CFW virsion or Do I need to upgrade it
to in between virsion first. I think its running on
OFW virsion. I tried to open downloaded games
and I ended up with error message.
Can somebody help me to update process.

yes you can..
you can upgrade straight to OFW 6.60 and use some CFW.

you can't directly update from OE guy, you get errors.
so here's what you do,

goto section 7 of my guide and install hellcats the way its mentioned for OE firmware and update using hellcats to 5.00 m33.

then go back to section 6 and update to 6.60 ME.
