PSP Slim seems to be bricked!!!

I have a PSP 2001 that I've had for almost 4 years. The other day it fell of my kitchen counter (like 4 feet) on to tile floor. The battery pack fell out and the memory stick slot opened. It was in sleep mode. I put the battery back in and tried turning it on but the screen stayed blank, and the green power light turned on but turned back off a few seconds later. I tried charging the battery and taking it out and plugging in the charger but nothing worked.

Eventually I decided it was fully bricked, so I took my battery and cut the little pin inside of it and made it a pandora battery, then I used PSP grader and made my MS a MMS. Then I put in the MMS and I put in the PB, the little green light turned on as soon as I put in the battery, but when I turn the PSP off and back on while holding the L button, nothing happens. The screen stays blank and the green light turns on and stays on until I turn the back PSP off.

I checked the screen, its not the back light. When it fell of the counter I believe it was in sleep mode while in the XMB menu. It was running on CFW 6.60 ME. Can someone help me out? I know how to take it apart but I want to know what the problem is first, is it bricked or what?

Well, since it fell off such a height, it can't be a brick, you get a brick only when something goes wrong with the flash0/ nand of the psp.

must be a hardware issue, take it apart and see if everything's fine.

Ok, I took it apart and everything seems to be fine. If it's not a brick then why is the green light turning on when I turn on the psp on then shutting off 10 seconds later like a bricked psp?

I just put it back together after taking it apart completely, everything seemed fine inside of it. I put it back together and its the same, doesnt work. Any help at all would be appreciated, Ive had this thing for 4 years like I said and its very special to me. Im about to give up and just trash it out of frustration.
