How to switch back to ofw?

I got my psp from a friend and it's hacked. I really just want to use the the official firmware because all the hacked stuff is confusing and i tried buying a game from the playstation store and i keep getting a weird error code i cant find the answer to when i try downloading the game. I was told to go to the recovery mode menu and change the battery to normal, but that just made my psp lag a lot now. how do you go back? It's using 6.60 ME 1.8

all yu do is place it in yer game folder and put the firmware yu want in yer UPDATE folder and run the downgrader from yer XMB

no need for all that dumbshit.
since you are on 6.60 ME ,just shutdown the psp, and hold the home key while booting and you should be on 6.60 ofw now
