    Hi all,

I had bought a PSP 3004 in jan 2011 and got a prometheus iso loader installed by one of the game shops locally. My official firmware then was 6.20 and he probably upgraded it to 6.35 and then installed this iso loader which has to be installed by a japanese looking "sukkiri" thing. But it was not playing new games like god of war or raw vs smack down 2011. Still I continued with it. Now it stopped loading any game and the screen went blank if i tried to play any game

Hence I formatted my 4gb memory stick and now the device is as good as a new one with 4gb card and 6.35 firmware.

Please suggest me the best way to run all latest iso games on my psp. Being a complete noob at all this, I dont really understand the jargons like "hen" and "cfw" properly, so instructions in layman language would really be helpful

Looking forward to a reply. Please also tell whether installing custom firmware 6.35 pro is better or upgrading to 6.60 ofw and then installing 6.60cfw is better. As I said, my need is to be able to play all possible games available for psp

p.s. I joined the forum today with the hope that the expertise of old members here would help me find a way to enjoy my psp again

I personally use 6.60LME-1.8, you can get it here:6.60LME-1.8 - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP Forum, Hack PSP, PSV Hacks, PS Vita Hack, PSVita. You will need to update to 6.60 before you can use it though

If you shut it down, just run the "launcher" again and it will re-activate the "Lite" CFW. Since the 3000 can not be fully hacked, this is your only option and I can honestly say that it is just as good if not better then "Full" CFW

Ok..and what if I format the memory card from the psp....the iso files would obviously be gone but will the hack too go away. And if the hack goes away then does placing of launcher and installer in game folder and then executing the installer and then the launcher restore the hack back....Any better way??

If you format the memory stick, all you will need is the "launcher" placed back in the "GAME" folder and run it again. You have to remember that your PSP(3000) is not fully hackable and can not use "Full" CFW
