    I have a PSP 1004 with CFW 5-50 Prome-2
    Now, which one is the best to install and exactly how would i go about updating my psp?
    Note: i have no experience when it comes to psp modding.

    Good job updating your firmware. There are a few guides here that would have shown you how to do it but it looks like you found it

    Now the only problem i have is not being able to run PSPKVM (i thought updating will fix it but it didn't).
    It just hangs on the black screen and eventually turns my psp off...

    Nope, they're all linkving version 0.5.5. And i've basically tried almost every version and with every version it's the same, it hangs on a black screen.

    Install this:HomebrewStore onto your PSP and download the "signed" version from there "application" section

    You can install the "Homebrew Store" on your PC and just transfer it to your PSP from there

    Already did, but i can't use the store because my psp isn't connected to the internet...

    Yeaup, the homebrew store version also gives out a black screen...
    any other ideas? Or is there maybe another program that i can use to play mobiles games in .jar format?
