    Hello

I'm trying to update my PSP1000 from 5.50 Gen-D (Full) to 6.60 ME-1.8 (OFW Version)

I've got everything in the right place, and 6.60 in the psp/update folder, but when I run the installer it says I need 6.60 and reboots to 5.50 Gen-D. Am I missing something somewhere?

Follow this guide:http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-fir...made-easy.html, scroll down to Section 6 and find the GEN BYPASS. Follow the instructions on how to bypass GEN and then update to 6.60.

Once on 6.60 then you can use this:6.60ME-1.8 (OFW Version) - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP Forum, Hack PSP, PSV Hacks, PS Vita Hack, PSVita to install 6.60ME-1.8
