want to upgrade from m33-6 without wifi

i have a psp 2004(light version,i think)...just recently bought it from a friend 2nd hand
now,it has m33-6 cfw installed on it
i want to install a version of 6.60 pro on it as the songs i play are lagging...i think it might be due to old cfw

now,from wat i have read here,u have to get to 6.60 ofw to do that i think?i could not find any tutorial links to get to from m33-6 to ofw 6.60.could any1 help with dat?also,if any1 could kindly post wat i have to do after the 6.60 ofw to get to 6.60 cfw latest version(do not know what it is),it would be most helpful

i do not have wi fi,so please provide a guide to do it all from computer

Create a folder inside the "GAME" folder on your memory stick and name it UPDATE. Now download this:6.60 OFW - Downloads - PSPMOD.com - PSP / PS Vita Forums and place the EBOOT from the download into the UPDATE folder you created and run the update from your PSP

thank you for the swift reply,but now i have another problem
i did get to ofw 6.60 on my psp following your instructions,but i think i might have semi bricked my psp now....i tried to run the update for 6.60pro c1fix 3 directly after the ofw update
now my psp wont boot up.however,the m33-6 recovery menu is still coming up

please guide me on what to do now.....im scared out of my wits
