Ive seen a lot of people needing an app for 1.5.0, so I wrote this.

Well, by now you've realised that you have a PSP V1.5.0. Which means
H0ly 5h17 my psp is teh shizznit. I wnat 2 do hombrewz on it 5al73d teech me cuz u r so 1337. I hvae a prob with startingz a homebrewz hlep. OMFG ROFLOLZ!!!111!!1

Translation: Wow, I have a PSP with Firmware 1.5.0, But I have no idea how to put homebrew applications on it, Shalted could you teach me because I am a noob and have no Idea how to do it. It seems that every time I try to start an appliction it fails, could you please help me?

    Tutorial!

Well by now, Im guessing you know that you need the kxploit to make apps run on a FW1.5.

    Making the Application 1.5 Compatible:

    Materials:

    PBP Unpacker by pdc
    URL:PBP Unpacker

    And your application

    Process:

Create Two Folders Named... well.. The name of your app and the name of your app with a '%' after it.
Ill use NESTERJ as an example.

Open The Eboot file of the app you chose in PBP Unpacker, now extract the DATA.PSP to the folder without the %, like this.

    And

Then select the ICON0.PNG and PARAM.SFO(using CTRL) right click then click send to new.

Save the new file as EBOOT.PBP and put it in the folder with the %.

And finally rename DATA.PSP to EBOOT.PBP in the folder without the %.

If the application has any supporting files, like bitmaps or other stuff like that put it into the folder without the %. Then copy the two folders to the Memory Stick.

There If It fails, you've done it wrong, Or you have a FW grater than 1.50

This is not stolen, I wrote it from memory because I have to do it whenever I want an app 1.5 compatible. So.... No I didnt pull a bennihan.

Tripod, would you mind deleting your post, I had to span this across two posts so all the pics would fit.

Does this method apply to game launchers? or strictly emulators?

It applys to all applications, it sould work on launchers unless the launcher you downloaded was writter specifically for a 1.0

Would the game freezing during startup indicate that it is only version 1.00 compliant?

Im just using placing the folders they give me into the directories specified. Kind of like this.

"Put PSP_GAME into mem stick ROOT

Put common into mem stick ROOT

    MSLOADER + MSLOADER% go in PSP/GAME"

ps1 might prove to be a problem, with only 1 analog stick and only 2 r and l buttons. alot of games might not be able to work, due to the sheere ammount of buttons required.
