thats just it, we dont have any proof of any kernel access in 2.80 so far. That is a must for a downgrader. Without that, we have no sign of a downgrader.

and im not alone working on this proj, lemme just brow my frnds fone so i can vid it

and b4 im using a 1.50 custom bootstrap and it didnt work as i expected so i used a edited 2.71 bootstrap that is almst dsame sa DAX 2.71SE bootstrap so that means that the kernel ac. is enabled and u can run homebrews and all of the 2.71SE feats are there after flashing it will ask to switch off the system and switch on agn after u switch on the power it will take a while to load.

i almst 4got u need to provide ur own DATA.DXAR

how it works?
enables the kern ac.(well someone has leaked the exploit in QJ now sad i hope it wont get patched agn this proj took as morthan a month to finish ) and formats the flash0 and flash1-->
installs the firmware--> replaces the bootstrap with a edited 2.71 strap-->
installs custom font(no option to enable or disable)--> installs custom BG(same no option) if u want to change the font use the 2.71SE firmware customizer-->removed the stylelish PSP logo on bootup.

(Every thing can be exploited if u focus on it!) almst all of the people focused in 2.71 thats y no one found an exploit in 2.80 but if they focused in 2.80 b4 there will be plnty of downgraders by now

ok ok i have time to answer questions now:

no u cant downgrade to 1.50 u can only use the firmware i recommend 2.71SE_A~B2
if DAX release a update on the SE firmware u cant use it, it will brick ur psp ill provide update coz DAX is using the 1.50bootstrap and im using 2.71 but still the same u can run homebrews and ull have access to the kernel,
u cant use an un edited generic downgrader u need to edit it 1st, u cant update to other firmware it myt brick ur psp u can use devhook instead if ur planning to use higher firmware(wer can i post the 2.80 for devhook and the devhook i edited? BTW my devhook will not work on other firmware only with the 2.80 i extracted and decrypted) u can use 2.71SE customizer, insted of using the original DAX 1.50bootstrap this flasher will patch that bootstrap with the edited 2.71bootstrap so it will work and i only build this project for use in 2.80 ta-082 or other mobo i dnt recommend that u use this flasher in other firmware other than 2.80 and u need to make to ur own "DATA.DXAR" u can download the firmware maker @ http://dax.lan.st . me and my frnds tested this flash it works fine but this flasher is still under dev we need to put a menu to enable and disable the font changing and the custom BG coz there is still no menu 4 that ryt now, and some times it will crash when its unlocking the kernel access, reboot and try agn it work for me after 2 reboots, and there is a possibility that it can brick ur psp u always need to plugin the poweradaptor to be safe coz there is no battery meter. to avoid bricking plugin the poweradaptor and when the app tells u to switch off, switch it off and on agn the wait till it starts DONT REBOOT, OFF and ON only AFTER FLASHING then after that enjoy DAX custom firmware and homebrews.

and BTW put a PSP font file inside the flash0/font in the flashers folder i removed the font i got coz its too big

well i removed the flasher coz some other psp users tryd to use the dxar file of SE-C and got thr psp bricked "I ALREADY SED HERE THAT THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH 2.71SE-B2!!!" <--- can u read mofo? DNT COMPLANE TO ME THAT UR PSP GOT BRICKED AND U WANT ME TO PAY? WTF THIS PROGRAM IS FREE AND USE IT AT UR OWN RISK! EVERY ONE KNWS THAT FLASHER WILL BE USE AT OWN RISK.

well later im gonna try it with 2.81 if it works and if my frnds will try to use it on a 2.82 lets see if it can be used in other FW and im not sure if thats y $ony updated 2.80 to 2.81~82 coz they patched this exploit hu knows till we try it

PSPBETTERTHANDS u can get the DATA.DXAR maker @ http://dax.lan.st and ragem about that 2.81 i still havnt tryd it i havnt got the time so i thnk its better just not use it on a 2.81 until confirmd, and pls dnt spred this flasher until i confirm it works with 2.81~82 so the exploit wont get patched if ever. thnkx

yeah seriously this seems awesome but I don't want to be stuck at SE-B forever. What if something happens to you and you don't release an update? Then were screwed. Anyways great job DARKTHUG Too bad you cant tell more people about this seeing as we don't want it patched!

it says for TA-082...well i checked my psp and i dont think its ta-082 (looked behind the driver its just green) so can i use this to downgrade my psp from 2.8 to 2.71?
