12-14-2006, 01:55 AM I followed all the instructions..and I cant emulate 1.5 on my 2.71 PSP!!
I select HEN-D...then done!!!
Then Select Devhook 0.46 for 2.71
Firmware selected is 1.50!!! (Hence I already copy the 1.50 US dump into the XMB)
Start...
Then no repsonds!!!!
Anyone know y I cant emulate 1.5??

so you want to play games with higher version ? then you need to emulate 3.01 or 3.02 and not 1.50here the link how to emulate 3.01 on you ta-082 ver 2.71 http://www.pspmod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10223 (Where to get games from??)
12-15-2006, 02:41 AM Step 3. – Booting the emulated 1.5 firmware.
Start HEN-D.
Wait for it to show you the blue screen and reboot.
Next you will need to start up Devhook 4.x launcher for 2.71
You will see a small menu with some options, under firmware make sure that you select 1.50
Now, select “start” from the main menu and your screen should turn black.
Devhook will start loading the 1.5 firmware files. You can confirm this by checking the light of your memory stick. It should flash.
Next you will see a screen that says something like “Game could not be started”.
This doesn’t matter. Ignore it, you should now be in an emulated 1.5 environment.
Go to system settings and double check to see if it displays 1.5

12-15-2006, 08:38 AM hey kevin..i just started doing this stuff myself and luck has it I ran into this place..and psp and tahval..thank God for them..or you still having problems with booting the 1.5..may go back over the process again..step by step! I started doing this for my nephew but i might as well jump in so i can learn about what other stuff his psp can do..don't get frustrated mate folks here were/are kind!!
SmOkY_1Nc..could you elaborate on what you meant by .."you can play anything on the 3.01 emulation for the ta-082...(homebrew..etc.)..Or anybody! My nehew has the the ta-082 motherbrd and now thanks to tahval &psp..they helped me emulate it up to 3.01 running 2.71...his sys came out the box with 2.71FW.
Can he now play hombrew..(don't know what that is..lol, emulators like games on his little handheld consoles..gameboy..or games he has never owned..he's only 6yrs...like SNES..pleae explain if you can. How about the other stuff this thing can do ..i see when reading online that it can also go on the web..play against other people who have the sys, play music, photos. Another little kid in his first grade class is getting one as well. Hope i can save his parents some money like tahval and psp helped me to save my sister a good amt. of cash!! Thanks to all who helped and posted their suggestions and PMs
