    ok ok ok... i am really excited about this...
    3.02OE. Dark_Alex has Realeased His Latest Custom Firmware... and it's in 3.02
    !!! i am currently Installing this !!!

    NOTE THIS CAN BRICK YOUR PSP USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
    ONLY TRY THIS ON A 1.5 or 2.71 SE-C PSP
    YES THIS WORKS ON A 1.5 TA-82 PSP

    Here's the full list of new features in 3.02 OE-A:

    * Runs 3.02 vsh
    * Can run homebrew using 3.02 kernel
    * UMD Video region free
    * PSP kernel region selector
    * O/X button selector
    * WMA enabling option
    * Flash player enabling option
    * Pops (SCE PSONE emulator) - DRM protection hacked (Which means that you can now your game on more than one psp, and share them over the internet)

    Features in 3.02OE-B :

    *The only new feature in this release is the ability to play your own PlayStation titles.
    *If you interested in creating you own PSX Eboots refer to this PSX iso to eboot conversion thread (Smoking Aces)
    *Secondly, you can only get 3.02 OE-B on your PSP by upgrading from 3.02 OE-A, which means that if you're one of the few who haven't upgraded to 3.02 OE, it's time to do it now! Once you're on 3.02 OE-B, it's best to check out the readme.

    This Thread will Guide you on How to Install 3.02 OE-B
    through two methods, The EASY Installer or Manually install

    EASY Installer (RECOMMENDED)

    INSTRUCTIONS
    Step 1) First UPGRADE TO 3.02 OE-A

    Firmware 3.02 Open Edition Revision B

    1. To install, download, extract and run the .exe. Run from either firmware 1.50 or firmware 2.71SE-C ONLY and install.
    2. Run the .exe and it will install all the files needed on the psp. Sometimes when installing the files it stops at 37%, thats normal, just sit back and wait for it to finish.
    3. Run the flasher. If your battery is less than 75%, the program will show the error saying so and will return you to the XMB. This check can be by passed at your own risk by executing the program with triangle and L pressed.
    4. The program will continue showing an agreement. Press X to accept and flash the custom firmware, or R to cancel and exit to the XMB.
    5. If you accept, the program will flash the custom firmware. Don't shutdown the PSP and don't remove the memory stick.
    6. Once finished, shutdown the psp and restart manually to 3.02 OE =)

    EASY 3.02 OE-A INSTALLER (1.5 users download here)
    EASY 3.02 OE-A INSTALLER (2.71 se-c users download here)

    Step 2) THEN UPGRADE TO 3.02 OE-B

    3.02 OE-B UPDATE

    download 3.02 OE-B Update

    MANUAL INSTALL
    How to install:

    INTRUCTIONS it's pretty Easy.

    1. Copy oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME/ if you are using 1.50 firmware and to X:/PSP/GAME150 if you are using whatever version of 2.71 Se.
    2. Get the 1.50 and 3.02 Update eboots in the oeupdmaker folder with the names "150.PBP" and "302.PBP".
    3. Run oeupdmaker. This program will create a file called DATA.DXAR in the same directory (oeupdmaker).
    4. The program will verify that the SHA-1 of the generated file is correct.
    5. Once that you have done this, you can save the DATA.DXAR file to skip this step in the future.

    Flashing DATA.DXAR:

    1. Copy the directories oeflasher and oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME (or /PSP/GAME150 if you are on 2.71 SE)
    2. Copy the generated DATA.DXAR from oeupdmaker to oeflasher directory.
    6. Once finished, shutdown the psp and restart manually to 3.02 OE Smiley

    FAQ/HELP

    Here are some things you need to know about 3.02 OE-B,
    -anything requires 1.5 Kernel(1.5, 1.00, 2.00 hombrew) goes into the GAME150 folder
    -anything requiring 3.02/2.71 kernel(2.71 homebrew, demos downloaded from the playstation site, PSX eboots) goes into the GAME folder

    Q-Why dont my homebrew work anymore?
    A-3.02 OE-B requires you to either set the GAME folder into 1.5 kernel through recovery mode or (RECCOMMENDED) create a GAME150 folder inside the PSP folder.
    After you created a GAME150 folder, place all your 1.5, 1.00, and 2.0 homebrew in that folder.

    Q-How do i play isos and csos on 3.02oe-b?
    A-Create an ISO folder in the root of your memorystick and place all your isos and csos i there.

    Q-My isos/csos dont play, when i click on them i get an eror message.
    A-Try checking to see if you got a UMD in the psp, unless you set your psp to "no umd mode", your isos/csos will not play, unstead they will launch and give you an error message

    Q-My isos/csos lag or dont run or load right.
    A-3.02 OE-B doesnt play all isos/csos perfectly, I'd reccommend installing devhook to play the isos better

    Q-How do i play my PSX games using the built in PS1 Emulator on 3.02 OE-B?
    A-You can either download and buy them from the playstation store through the PS3, or you can convert psx isos into psx eboots, refer to this thread here (Smoking Aces).

    Q-How do I listen to mp3s from anywhere on the xmb or playing a game?
    A-Download the lates Mp3 module prx (link), place all the contents of the seplugins folder into the seplugins folder in the root of your memorystick(dont have one create one). Read the README and configure it to your liking

    Q-My psp isnt a 1.5 or 2.71 se-c?
    A-I'd reccommend downgrading if you can. If you are a NON TA-082 User with 2.8 or below firmware refer to this thread here (Madd Kat IS HERE) or is you a TA-082 User with 2.71 or below firmware refer to this here (Madd Kat IS HERE)

    Anymore questions, feel free to personal message me or post in this thread

    ohh very sweet. I might be trading this guy his 1.5 so I will deff have to try this one out. Now, can I just install from 1.5 without having any previous custom firmwares installed? Will the auto install work fine?

    How would you go about customizing the new firmware, and what are the unbrick keys in case something goes bad?

    I installed it so easily using SE-C, you just need to follow the instructions to the letter. So far, everythings fine and visualizations rock.

    ts going great for me, got mine to work,

    as for customizing, its the same as customizing 2.71 SE-C, only i think custom backgrounds dont work, because that is change ot linked together in 3.02

    you can still customize eboots, fonts, load prxs, etc

    How do you load ISOs directly off the XMB without devhook? I am having trouble finding how... I have 2.71 SE-C, and I am going to upgrade ASAP, but I didn't know if SE-C already had that capability or not.

    create an ISO folder in the root of the memorystick, and stick your isos and csos in there
