I just wanted to add that if you try to do this process without a UMD inserted it will give you the error message

Long process but it works TESTED BY ME Here is the FW I USED 3.40 OE-A

FIXED: "The game could not be started." (80010002)/(80020148)
I Just went to solve this problem:
A. in some case you have to fix your PSP Registry with KeyCleaner v1.1 (Search you'll find it ... ) because if you had a PSP with Corrupted Registry, Changed Options don't apply correctly on Registry... simply run the KeyCleaner and fix your Registry Corrupted Data, this is for people who don't like to risk
B. Solution #A maybe not work for all cases, you have to Format Flash1 and ReFlash your PSP Again ... Download the Flash1 Formatter v2 copy the files into Game Folder, Boot your PSP in Recovery Mode and Run the Recovery EBoot ( Option 3 ), Flash1 Formater will start, follow the instructions and Format your Flash1. WARNING: don't run it on v1.5 !! and make sure you already had recovery files on another MemoryStick to return your PSP to 1.5 , After Format Boot your PSP in Recovery Mode and Reflash your PSP to v1.5 ... then Upgrade your PSP to DAX's Custom Firmware 3.40 ( 2.6 SE-C is most compatible but you can't play the new games with it ... ) WARNING: This way is too risky
after Upgrade to 3.4 Custom Firmware, Boot your PSP in Recovery Mode and ...
1. Configuration -> Use NO-UMD (Disable it) - ( Because NO-UMD Loader is old and it's not rewritten yet .. so it's not working and if you enable it your PSP will freeze and you will just see a Black screen ).
2. Go all the way back to main menu
3. Advanced -> Advanced Configuration -> (Disable all of them)
Optional: you can change CPU in UMD mode to 333
-=-=-=-
Make sure you have a New Game UMD into your drive < 3.xx , for example : you can't play Smash Court Tennis 3 ISO with GTA Liberty City Stories UMD in Drive
I forgot a important thing, this is the FAKE MemorySticks, maybe you buy a 2GB MemoryStick for 20$ and think you were Smart but in fact it's totally fake, these thing are products of china underground factories, those are just a SD Memory with MemoryStick Connectors...
Fake MemorySticks Stores the Large Data Like ISO files as Corrupted Data ...
there are many ways to determine this for example Checking the Sony Hologram on the Box ...
