For those of you that have 3.80 OFW Slim PSP and are getting black screen with no MS and Wireless LED activity when Pandora battery is inserted try a different flashing method.

I just bought a PSP Slim Daxtor pack that comes with 3.80 OFW yesterday and spent hours figuring out why my PSP won't read the MS when Pandora battery is inserted. I read from some other thread that this doesn't work with 3.8 OFW so I tried Hercules' 7z files and it worked the first time.

Since I just registered to post about this the system won't allow me to post link so search for "Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide" in this website for the 7z files and instructions.

I just wanted to thank CatB50. The installer worked without a hitch once I realized I was supposed to press "y" then enter at a couple of those prompts...

But here is the deal, I want to run all sorts of games off of this newly modded slim, including UMDs and Emulators. So, excuse me if I am missing something, but what do I do now? Do I have to install anything else?? Do I just put the games on the memstick?

Help a dude out.

Copy the game isos into the ISO folder on the memstick. Select mem stick on the game menu, and there's your games!

Catb50, you gonna make one for 3.90 m33-3, as DAX released it yesterday.
I need help installing it. I would appreaciate if you made a Magic ms creator whihc installs 3.90 m33-3 instead.

hey guys i have a slim PSP running on 3.8 M33 CFW.I cant seem to play isos and csos that i copy into the PSP/GAME/ISO folder.Could it be that i must use a Pandoras before my slim's memory card must see Iso & cso files

I've got a solution for you femzy. Make an ISO folder in the root of your MS. In the root they're should also be a PSP folder. Delete the one you made in the GAME folder. Now put your games in the ISO folder i have relocated.

if your already running 3.80 m33 just run the network update to get 3.90 m33-3

Hey, really helpful.

However, I've come across a problem. When I'm at the mspformat stage, it gives me an error saying "Logical Drive has more than a physical drive. Cannot handle it."

What should I do now?

This DOES work on a Slim Daxter PSP running official 3.80 OFW! I just downloaded the 2.0 lite version and followed VAMPYRE777's Datel tool battery video word for word and it worked like a charm! I bought the tool battery. I also read on slim's the screen stays black, but I saw everything when installing the CFW. Thanks to Catb50 and Vampyre, with both of them this is fool proof.

So I'm using Catb50's MMS maker and everything i going fine until I reach the second to last screen. It asks me to remove memory stick, turn off connection, then put it back in and restart. I do so and it tried to copy files then I get this error:

I am using 3.71 firmware, while the guide is using 3.90, would that make any differance? Any help is appreciated.

What a great piece of software

Im using xp but even though it says format complete (im following vampyre 777s video) it only then copies 1 file not 60 as it does in the video!! And obviously doesnt work

what could i be doing wrong?

Yes, I get the exact same thing when I try this. The only difference is my drive comes up as G and my firmware is now 3.93. I was also trying this on firmware version 3.73, but I used an official update to see if it made any difference.
It was exactly the same with 3.73 and 3.93.
If anyone knows how to help us it would be much appreciated.

By the way, I tried this using two different memory sticks, a 2GB and an 8GB.

Just ordered my PSP Slim. My only question is, once I use this, do pandora's battery, magic ms, and install the 3.8 or whatever with this catb50 magic ms creator, and it's time to go to newer firmwares, do I always need to use custom firmwares? or can I use official firmwares? does official vs custom determine whether or not I can use games I might put on my MS? Thanks
