Step By Step Popsloader Installation Guide
I can Guarantee that this guide works 100%.
You can add as many Pops as you want so it all depends on you if you want the setup to take awhile or not. I only put the pops that works with majority of the PSX games. And the surprising thing is that despite the fact i only added 3.71, 3.72 and another pops which i forgot, it still lists all the of the Pops for me.
Im guessing that if you don't have the Pops file and you try to load a listed firmware that it will just load your own firmware. So alot of you guys are misinformed. Metallover, this guide isn't shit seeing as how it works and your to quick to judge. Try reading the guide and try to understand it, instead of just looking how long and tidious it is then just saying its rubbish.
Cheema201 put alot of work into this guide and it's quite immature of someone to call it shit.

as i flip thru the guides section, i find some are easier than others, and they ought to be, they are written by different people, (different strokes for different folks)
there is no way anyone should be putting a person down who took the time to help others, and especially took the time to write out a detailed instructional.
cheema201 should be thanked by those who have used his guide!
nay-sayers or haters or whatever negative remarks should in my opinion be avoided, and other guides should be written (especially for those who found it easier another way)
guide writers should also note there are other ways of doing things and should not take offense to critisism, especially constructive!
it all adds to collective community here and knowledge base. but most of all it makes this community and this site a better place to be.
just my humble opinion, peace! |

just my humble opinion, peace! | You couldn't be more right... I am sorry for becoming a little disgruntled at Switchblades and terinbune as they were simply looking at easier ways of installing popsloader...
And their way is fine, if u simply want to install the plugin and not use it... I think that they were mislead into thinking that popsloader is only a 5 minute application wen it is infact a little time consuming to install properly...
Thankyou to everyone who has supported me in writing this guide..
for it will be my inspiration to the start of many more 'step by step' guides |

and about downloading the prx files, I could upload the prx files for the different pops.. However dumping the files urself is not difficult. Also i find more gratification in the manual installation methods, for even though it may be time consuming it is in some way satisfying...
However if people are looking for a short way out then i will upload the prx files... |

This guide is seriously awesome, I now got my brother jealous cause he could never figure out how to get ff8 working. And to all you people saying it is simple, there are noobs out there who do not know much about homebrew and emulation. This guide also helped me learn about it. Cheema you rock.
