286 - Ultimate MMS Maker Guide For Xp/Vista
I would just buy a pandora battery, on Amazon you can get one called a "Datel Tool Battery" just search it on Amazon. Its what I used for my PSP Slim and my mates PSP Phat's and it works great. |

When making the mms the it goes through everything and then stops at 401.pbp copied any ideas or does it just take aggees at that point??
Here are all the stages it goes through:
Starting Format
Format Complete
Starting IPL Injection
IPL Injected
Creating Folders
Folders Created
Extracting Despertar del Cementerio v7
Finished Extraction
Reading 4.01 EBOOT
Writing 401.PBP
401.pbp Copied
It then wont come up with anything else! I am using this to unbrick my psp.I have tried it twice both times it stops at that. could it be because im using a 32mb ms?

Yeah I would probably suggest using at least a 512mb memory card and make it a Sony Pro Duo as it may not work otherwise. |

256MB is the minium size, 32MB isn't big enough.

OK, so here is my problem. i was trying to update my psp to a newer cfw but it bricked. I ordered a pandora battery and used this tut ro make a MMS. When I put the mms into my psp, hold down the left trigger and insert the pandora battery nothing ever happens. The light turns green when I insert the battery but the screen never comes on. If I try to hold the power button up and hold the left trigger the light comes on for a few seconds and then turns off. When I made my MMS I used the multi card reader that is in my computer and everything seemed to work. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong?
by the way i have a psp-2001 and i was running cfw m33 5.0 i believe

How long did you wait for the light? I've heard that you should hold the button for at least 10 seconds, but I had to hold mine for more around ~20.
Also, maybe try using one of the other MMS Makers. I used a lot and none of them seemed to work or me until I found this one. iPen has a pretty cool Time Machine post in the Guides section.

did like you said and tried a different MMS, i ended up using PSP Grader and now I am all set up. Now all I have to do is make sure that can run the newer games and if not find out how to upgrade my CFW without bricking again lol. Thanks a lot for your help. I love this site!!! |

did you make sure that your battery is modded right and you sure you followed this tut right.i offer a video on this if you have trouble.if you follow the video and/or add the extra patch files and instructions depending what firmware you want you should be fine.specially on a phat |
