How To Install PSP Custom Firmware
hi all, i keep on reading for few hours cause i'm noob and i'm really tired. I got a psp (the box written slim & lite), beside the box is written
E12
PSP-2006RP
220-240V
C
and I think it is PSP 2000 as I can see the PS logo at the top left hand corner
Here is my problem:
Few days ago I saw a latest release of 5 50 GEN D and i go to install it. After it reboot, my psp only show me black screen/blank. I cannot go into the recovery mode. When I turn on my PSP, the power indicator show green light, it just nothing come out. I ask at some forum they said my PSP is bricked and dead, but I don't think so as i take to the shop and they able to open it ( I look what they have done is to insert a battery and memory stick, so I think that is a pendora battery and magic memory stick).
1. So, is it means that i buy the Pendora Battery and make the Magic Memory Stick from here(but the download link is dead) and i'm able to recover my psp?
2. Possible this Pendora battery and Magic Memory Stick to be use in future whenever I get brick? :P |

nope, because they charge very expensive, so i rather go and get a pendora battry and make the magic memory stick and do it myself as in future if it's brick again i can recover it. Just want to make sure whether this will work on my psp or not before i buy it. |

If it definitely had some form of CFW on it before you bricked it, then yes a pandora will recover it. |

How To Install PSP Custom Firmware
Ive had a psp 1000 (bought it when it first came out) and only now i deceided to mod it. your tutorial was perfect. I followed it to the letter. the Magic memory stick maker is such an easy tool.
The only problem now is that I ended up Hard modding my battery and I need another battery. But other than that, Thank You! |

I don't seem to be able to install CFW. My battery is pandorized and working, and I have a magic memory stick (512mb), but when I put them in my psp, the result is the screen being just black. My PSP isn't bricked cause when I plug it in without my battery it works just fine. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? (yes my battery is a sony one I'm using a PSP phat OFW 5.51) |
