So you are running XP? And you used my files and followed my guide? Huh. Well, at least the tricky part, the Pandora's battery, is made right. Sorry that I cant help you... it's not like I can see your PSP. Maybe you should buy a Magic Memorystick from this site? IDK if it's legit, but no one's complained.

Ya I've used similar stuff. My method involves command prompt and thats how I learned it. And vista has problems with it. I'll stick to that method because I'm not going to steal someone's program that they made (like you) and use it for my own guide and method. I am using someone's Magic Memorystick files for now... I'm making a few of my own, one with 4.01 M33 is already made, I haven't tested it yet. My guide probably will be XP only for now, because I'm not an expert at Automatic Magic Memorystick makers and have never made my own.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Explanation of who I am

My problem:
I am like a guru and enjoy helping people.
Unfortunately, I lost all of my modded files when I wiped my PC a few months ago. Oh well..... I had quite an archive though and planned to upload most of it. I had 132 GB in special and interesting programs I downloaded, Including my favorite, a T-search v1.6 that someone modded to value hack Runescape. (That game sucked but I had 6 Santa hats.... then got banned for hacking, and a month after the fixed it to not work) I had very powerful stuff, and never mad a backup like a noob. I should have at least save my mods for XP that made it show up as a MAC online. I had over 100 custom call of duty 2 maps and 10 of my own. I always collected the useless crap and the useful. I don't like to delete. And that's the type of person I was. I had every program It seemed (even though that's Impossible.) I had a problem though. No virus protection. It slowed my down and questioned me too much. i was personally hacked (not by a virus, Which is odd seeing all the stuff I had.). I'm missing all of my programs (some my own, some you cant find anymore) I had saved articles from the internet about exploits in XP. Then the computer crashed along with (somehow) the BIOS chip broke. Like a complete Idiot, I put vista on It and wiped the hard drive. I could have Put it in my second PC and Copied everything. Now I've downgraded that PC to XP (I'm using it now) I never had too many PSP hacks, and had never modded mine.
Well, a few months ago, I started, and now I like it. I have modded over 30 PSP's now for friends, and Its my new thing. I hope to be a software guru like I was, and plan to keep everything (with backup) this time. I'm working on a PSP site that anyone can contribute their hacks and programs (PC and PSP) so it can be an interesting library of software. It's gonna take me a while to be back on my feet though. I'm new to the PSP sceen, but am not a software amateur. Now, I'm learning Macs, my weakness. And hardware, which never interested me.

So after this seemingly useless long post, I hope you understand who I am. My email is Syntaxvgm@yahoo.com. When I am done making the site, I'll be asking your help. Not by donation, but by contributing your hacks or what you have found.

Oh btw I'm so new to hardmodding, I look up to people who do LED hacks. I'm learning though.

It sounds like your Magic Memorystick is made incorrectly.

If you are running Vista, you cannot make a magic memory stick and will get that message. I tried it on Vista and the same think happened to me. because your second problem sounds like the Vista one. XP only. If you have XP, try downloading the files from somewhere else. Also make sure you typed the drive letter right.
I tried it on my Vista and XP laptop, same results, i follow instructions very well so i know its not an error on my part, if you dont have an answer then just say you dont know instead of blaming me for error, obviously theres something wrong with the program if it wont work, 98% of the progs/methods out there dont work.

So if you can actually solve my problem ill be greatful but dont blame the error on me.

It would be nice if there was an actual bullet proof unbricker...that would be the day would'nt it?

Also ƒR()§†H@X - i tried that right after this one failed, it failed aswell!

Default How To Install PSP Custom Firmware

I remember when I made my first mms and the XP 32 bit pc assigned it as "F" drive so thats what I typed (uppercase F) into Total Newbie installer and it didn't work right. Kd and registry files weren't there and obviously not msipl.bin. So I reran the program but this time I typed lowercase "f" without quotes and it worked perfectly. Since then I have also successfully used Rain MMS creator (there are different version depending on what cfw version you want to go to(3.71m33,4.01m33,5.00m33) also on a XP 32 bit machine. Didn't try on my Vista laptop as I had access to the XP machine. I have heard that it works on Vista if you right click and choose run as administrator otherwise the mem stick ipl (msipl.bin) doesn't get created/injected right on root of memory stick.

Sorry, I can't see your PSP. Perhaps try another maker? Like an automatic maker? They work very well, you'll just have to find one. I'm sure it's not your fault.
BTW whats the Brand and size of the memorystick? Not saying its wrong, I just want to test it to perfect my maker. I won't be at my computer for a few days, so have someone else help you. Also use a different maker. My maker is simply uses the normal "El Desperter Del Cementerio" files from Dark Alex, and the PSP installer is the same, Except I used different version of firmware (instead of 3.71 M33 I used 3.71 M33-2) I renamed the file folders to to go with my tutorial. It's never failed for me.
Try this maker by ƒR()§†H@X (posted up there ^)
Sorry for the inconvenience!
