hey I am having psp 3000 with system softwere 5.51 so I am not able to update it. So is there any way other than this, so that I can play games which I just download it from internet because right now my psp just shows one message that currupted data. What should I do now.

I am having system softwere version 5.51 so i am not able to install 5.03 version, the message just comes that there is no need to update it as u r having a higher version

I have it installed. I downloaded a psp game and extract it into PSP folder and it's called PSP_GAME. It's not in an iso format because I extracted the iso. How do I play the game now? Do I need anything else? If I go in Game and memory stick, all I see is damadge data.

Well, i had the same problem. Then, i got the tips i should try going to System meny and do a system restore. It turns everything (settings) to factory default. Voila! It worked directly. Sometime i just switch off the LAN button. So if you got the problem to start chickhen after 4-5 times, i suggest that you go for a system restore and it should popup after that restore.

And i also read somewhere the its important that you (after boot) go directly to photos and chickhen and do the steps.

1. Try switch off the Lan button
doesnt work?

2. DO a system restore, after that, switch off the psp (not only standby)
Then run chickhen.

Tell me if you got it running...

Hi i am a newbie her i have a psp wid a 5.03 versoin my problem is i dont no any games and every time i put a game on my psp it say corrupted file

I downloaded the HEN thing, but when i scroll to the tiff file, my PSP just keeps turning off. i retried this like 30 times

Umm my PSP keeps turning off. I tried switching off the LAN, i tried system restore, i tried making sure that a UMD cd was in the little compartment for my PSP 3000. It still just keeps turning off!

hey guys, i tried sumthin different which may work. wen tryin to load chickHEN follow the following steps.

1. Press x to open the memory stick in Photo
2. Press and hold x when u open the ChickHEN folder
3. Immediately scroll down using the down buton. Do not leave either of these two buttons. If your lucky it should happen in two or three tries.

Worked for me

hi all, i have a psp slim 3000.
i have updated firmware to 5.03 and have successfully loaded chicken in the past. a couple of days ago my psp was shut down completely by mistake and when i tried running chicken again it did not load! i tried about 40 times and also tried different installations and methoods (including the one above) but none seem to work

i know for a fact my psp is hackable since it worked before but for some reason chicken refuses to load again. why doesnt it load? what can i do to make it load again? plz help..
