Perhaps you should show how to use rip tools also... so not only deleting dummy files and compressing but after that ripping out wat is useless..
for example the updates or other languages if they are available..

i converted nba live 08 from 1.5 gb to below 300mb by ripping out as much as i could to still have the game running fine...

rip tools are the ultimate space saving for ISO/CSO

are the "dummy" files named "dummy files" or will they be named as maybe ".pad" files?

cancel that question after re-watching the video i noticed the "dummysearch"
button, i got now.

are there any other rip tools or is Umdgen the main 1. And how come that dummy search button sucks? Never finds any dummy files.

Is there a list of files that are common to most psp games that you can delete?

umdgen is not really a rip tool (it takes nothing out of the game just dummy files)... dummy files are files that are placed on a UMD to push the game information to the outside of the UMD where it is read more smoothly..

if you want a rip tool you will need to acquire a seperate rip tool for each game...

for instance if u wanted a rip tool for madden. then you would search for that particular rip tool

if you are ripping information, make sure that you keep an original incase you rip something out of the game that needed to be there..

so your progression should go like this

save iso on ur computer from UMD.. delete dummy files.. compress iso..

then download a rip tool and rip out useless files...
