lol, nice. You got any contracts with the CIA, ARMY or w/e? The ear piece, these super bullets, are you getting any special offers in any secret organizations? |

You know, technically that could double as a microwave... instant shock.

Nice so, you invented a Super Tazer Bullet for a spud gun....
that gun is huge, how big is it? I got a buddy that built a spud gun with a dual chamber thingy... he riged it with Lawn spreakler things, it could fire 2 individual shots or one combined shot that went twice the distance... i noticed you where using a gas and flame/spark to fire... why not compressed air? his was about half the size of that one... but something tells me that one is more accurate probly due to the long barrel... my buds pretty much shot like a civil war cannon, in that direction... but not nessasarly straight in an arch however it was 90% on target we used D batteries, the potatoes would sometimes just explode out of the end but ... that fin idea would totaly work...
to bad he just has it tossed up in his attic, boy we use to have so much fun with that thing on the boat... we made this mount thing that we could stick it anywere... on the bow of his boat or our other buddy's Chevy's bed... hehe it was like a turrent... it spun in a 360 lol
so any ways back to the topic... your none leathel is a potato? and your leathel is a super tazer thingy? you guys try a beenbag? like the riot cops use? |

You start selling/producing these... I start selling/producing my armor... ^_^
If you use a conductive "grid" after(or in) the pierced kevlar... the person should receive no discharge of the capacitor. Use a layer of conductive screen, a layer of metal foil, then another conductive screen (different direction mesh of first) to make sure that the projectile hits at least 1+ conductive layer essentially shorting it out. From dealing with capacitors, if you short one... they take a VERY small amount of time (right above a uS) to drain. I figure, if the current is high enough(300A+ for a short), then it may vaporize the screen between your 2 electrodes... but that does not matter if it drained the cap first. :-P Worst case scenario... it would take an afternoon with a kevlar vest and some wire meshes to see which one worked best.
Also, another thing you might be interested in... spread your electrodes a bit... will increase the effected area of the shock. The low amounts of current for death are measured across the heart. If you hit someone in the arm, chances are... that 50mA shock is NOT going to do much damage (just really sting and make their arm go numb). So, if you spread the electrodes... the shortest path between those 2 points increases in resistance (think of the body as a voltage divider circuit, instead of all current taking short path... it splits a little bit more current off into that "other" path *the open body*) |

If anyone was curious, we hooked up the ampmeter in series with a decade box. We didn't hook it up directly as that would've just blown the amp to shit.
