Finished! Just need to post up the POC on my youtube! Used an old tuberware container for the back. Had to rewire and reposition the RCA and HDTV ports on the left side which was a major pain in the ass.
Work to be done still:
Go to Menards and buy a new wooden platform to mount it since the white one was just a prototype platform that was laying around.

Nice like it, im going to mod mine when the dvd drive gives up but it wont be as bad ass as yours..still get xbox live on that ? lol or even normal TV ? | |

It's modded with the latest dvdrom FW. And yeah you can still watch TV since it is an HDTV LCD. I really like this considering I'm still in college and space is limited.
If anyone is curious, I used wooden dowels to raise and do multilevel positioning with it.

Basically. The wiring for this is horrible, I would not recommend anyone trying this.
