Default Swapping DPAD and Analog Controls

This is a picture work archive of a psp that I'm building for my nephew. It's mainly used for racing games. But there are a lot of improvements to this mod.

It's called the Typical User's PSP because I've rearranged the controls and added some extra functions that I believe should've been made in the first place. First of all, most games use the analog as the main control and the DPAD as an inventory button. So I figured why not replace the crappy analog with a full XBOX analog stick and just make a custom DPAD. I've also added a second analog stick wired to the right facebuttons for FPS. Second of all I've made this mod accessible so that I can remove the faceplate without damaging the wires.

Preparing the mobo

I realize that by cutting out excess pcb on the mobo, I can put my 8 pin connector there to allow removal of the faceplate easier with the new controls

Simple USB charger mod

Since I realize that I'm going to be working extensively on certain areas, I decided to liquid electrical tape at certain areas. Using this instead of regular electrical tape allows for less depth and since electrical tape peels off after a while and takes some components with it-I thought that was a good investment in my part

Covering the ports so hotglue doesn't come in

Cut some excess pcb off the power board to allow a 5switch IC on there

When I pull it out it's molded to the exact shape I want it
