Tried googling it and only came up with one pic. Still confused on what hardware it uses unless it's just routing the LCD from the ps2.

ah ha finally found it :

Had 2 cords coming from screen: a power cord and an adapter to plug video into. It was female and male so it could still plug into PS2. So you could have it on your tv and the controller at the same time.

Ah so it's connected externally to a ps2 console itself. My new design will have the console embedded internally inside it.

Sounds like a great idea, but i personally wouldnt buy it.

idk why but it doesnt strike me as something i need. I allready have a PS2, and my PSP (although it cant play PS2 games) is like my PS2 on-the-go.

Although i have to say its a really good idea, and best of luck with it.

I know it's the only system from last generation that still has games made for it, but why not do a controller screen for 360 or ps3? Other than it being cheaper and likely easier to do.

Because the hardware I'm using for mine is the PSP mobo. You can't fit a 360 or ps3 into a controller.

I can see where that would pose a problem. Still above my current knowledge of electronics and hardware so I hope you don't encounter too many speed bumps.

I still tell local gameshops around here about this guy who turned his 360 and T.V into one device.

Make it a PS3/360 controller and it'd probably be a good idea.

I already did make one. Check out the roadwarrior, it used a 360 controller.
