I suppose it would depend on if the screen actually worked, and what features it would have. I think around $50-$80 sounds somewhat reasonable. |

well... ps2's are made to be played on the big screen, so unless the ps2 controller lcd offered like... an offmenu like the DS, then i wouldn't spend money on it. however, if you're talking about a ps1 or psp embedded into a ps2 controller w/ an LCD, then that's a different story

I think you'll have to go more in depth on the specs before a good opinion can be formed. Just a thought. Sounds like a good idea though. |

It will be 2 inches longer than a PSP. Same depth as one not including the depth of the handles. Same width. The new ps2 controller will have an embedded cfw psp to play ps1 games.

I'd probably pay around $150-250 if it actually worked without any malfunctions. As long as i could get Parasite Eve 2 to work on it |

I'll make one first. Then I'll see how many people actually want it and if there's enough, I'll make a mold.

Been there done that...Ill look up the one I bought for only 20 like 2 years ago.
I think Intec made it.
Gave it to a friend who needed a second controller.
Was a 1.5 or 2" screen. Good color and very nice clarity since smaller pixels look better on inexpensive screens.
Was fun for fighting games sucked ass trying to play final fantasy on it.
Only really used when I wanted to play PS2 and my daughter wanted to watch cartoons at the same time. |

I googled intec but came up with nothing other than one of those LCD attachments for your gamecube/xbox/etc which isn't the same thing as what I'm doing. Was the controller embedded with a good gaming hardware or was it just one of those cheap china ripoffs.

Think of the DS merging with the PS2 controller.
The screen flipped up and was attached to a controller a little fatter than the standard ones.
It's really old now, trying to find it but no luck so far.
Bought it on clearance at Toysrus in 06, think it was like 50 to begin with and got it half off or more.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was Intec because it came with a metal case which I still have.
Had 2 speakers on the side of the screen, volume, contrast, and color controls below screen. All black with the top of screen or back of screen depeding on how you hold is was silver.
Being that the screen flipped up like that it was of course a little top heavy and took a little getting use to but it was cool if nothing else. |
