Id say it was about all it was worth.

40gb hard drive
512 ram
processor is alright
a bit bulky at 6.5lbs

The only reason I may end up buying that as a laptop would be to surf the internet...And maybe play FFXI if it could handle it. Don't know if it has a wireless card or not.

Heck, a cheap little laptop like that would be ideal for using FlatMii and the Nintendo Wii to stream ISO files - no more messing with discs!

Of course that's another topic....

Darn it... now I have to go and check my local craigslist for deals.

The battery was completely fried, it can't hold more than 6 seconds worth of charge which is a shame. I removed the battery and the port completely. I have a rocketfish external 2.5 harddrive enclosure which basically just has a 2.5 to usb adapter. I think I'll put in a secondary harddrive.

Hm, I tried putting in a secondary harddrive in my desktop and I keep getting an error even after setting it up and everything...It's weird.

PVP, what you could do is use that as some sort of Torrent downloading/uploading station, keep it on from 6PM to 6AM, run it 12 hours a day like a boss.
