Macbook pricing

About to buy a white macbook that's been used only 5x for 600USD+80gb IDE external harddrive

Specs are :
Its a 1.83 core 2 Duo with combo drive 512mb built in isight 60Gb hard drive

Worth it or not?

I wouldn't ever buy a Macbook. They are very nice and quite beautiful but I really love Windows and the variety of laptops which are offered with Windows. Also, Windows and OSX don't even compare in my opinion. But if you're looking for a Mac, that sounds like a steal.

I would not get something with that small of a hard drive and that slow of a processor. I really like the way macbooks look. A new laptop that looks kind of like a macbook and it can be a little smaller is a Sony Vaio.

I wouldn't MACs are overpriced (that's not to say they aren't good, but I personally think only graphic designers will like them more), but if you are getting it for less than $500 I think it would be worth it

Mac books suck for the following reasons -

1. WAAAAAAY Overpriced
2. They use Mac OS, Enough said about that.
3. They get very hot, enough to cook an egg on it, (search google)
4. White is an ugly color for a laptop, it shows all dirt and grim on it.

The old white macbooks don't look that good to me. I love the design of the new aluminum unibody ones though! I'm planning to buy one when I have some extra cash.
