My suggestion would be, and if it doesn't work then I'm sure others can help, to try and remove the save folder (any ISOs and other files as well, you don't want to lose them)from the root directory...

Upgrade 5.50 GEN D-3 to 6.60ME-1.6 I recently signed up to this site seeing as how I can't seem to find help elsewhere, and I'm a moderate noob; I can follow instructions but anything too technical and I'm left to scratching my head....
