How to install and run 3.02 OE-A on a 1.50 PSP

1. Download and decompress 3.02 OE-A (http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=12&fid=11867&catid=114)

2. Copy the directories oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME/

3. Download the 1.50 Upgrade Eboot (http://dl.qj.net/dl.php?fid=163) , name it "150.PBP", and put it in the oeupdmaker folder.

4. Download the 3.02 Upgrade Eboot (http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmware-3.02-J...1627/catid/163) , name it "302.PBP", and put it in the oeupdmaker folder.

5. On your PSP, run the 3.02 OE-A Update Maker program. This program will create a file called DATA.DXAR in the same directory (oeupdmaker), which it will then automatically verify.

6. Copy the directories 302oeflasher and 302oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME

8. Move the generated DATA.DXAR from oeupdmaker to 302oeflasher directory.

9. On your PSP, run the 3.02 OE-A Firmware Install program. If your battery is less than 75%, the program will show the error saying so and will return you to the XMB. This check can be by passed at your own risk by running the program with triangle and L pressed.

10. The program will display an agreement. Press X to accept and flash the custom firmware, or R to cancel and exit to the XMB.

If you accept, the program will flash the custom firmware. Don't shutdown the PSP and don't remove the memory stick.

11. Once finished, shutdown the psp and restart manually to 3.02 OE


How to update 3.02 OE-A to 3.02 OE-B

1. Download and decompress 3.02 OE-B (http://homepage.mac.com/kevinmacleod/oe/oeb.zip)

2. Copy the directory OEB_UPDATE to /PSP/GAME150/

3. On your PSP, run the 3.02 OE-B Update program. It won't take long to update, and should finish within 10 seconds


*Now to to run your 1.5 homebrew, you have to shut down your psp completely and then reboot it while holding the R button to get to the Recovery Menu. Then go to "Configuration" and change it to the 1.5 kernel.

**Also make sure that you have all your homebrew in a new folder called "GAME150" under the PSP folder. Put your PSX folders inside the regular "GAME" folder.
