Why cant i play games?

sup,i'm a noob, and this is what i have to say... I have a 3.40 OE-A fw on my psp..and i noticed..I CANT PLAY UMDS...why is this???

plz someone help me! or my dad will scream at me..

Go to your recovery memory and disable no umd

i just did that and still didnt work...=/ i turned on my psp..i holded R i went to configuration and disabled no-umd..and still didnt work..got any other suggestions?

You need a new laser? If you think it is a software problem (which i doubt) upgrade to 3.52m33

Yeah, 3.52M33 is the best for basically everything. You may have just had a bad flash, which will be fixed by either flashing your current fw again or installing a new one.

i didnt even touch my laser rofl..hmm..and i dont wanna upgrade to 3.52m33..thats hard....wait..can u tell me what u have enabled and disabled on ur recovery menu? maybe I can copy u and it would work?

updating to 3.52 is easy. All you need is the easy installer, then you run one eboot and you are done.

Upgrade, its extremely easy since you are already on CFW you dont have to go to 1.5 and all of that mumbo. You probably cant play some of your games because your FW is too old and doesnt support newer games...

look for the easy installer and it should take you about 1 min or 2 to upgrade most likely you wont brick, you are already on CFW most people brick trying to get to 1.5 so yours will be a breeze or you can always do the Pandora mod

of course man. But the chance is very unlikely.

upgrading a cfw has as much chance of bricking as upgrading official firmware. Just make sure the battery is charged and its plugged in to an outlet just in case.
