i'm going for 3.52 M33-4 for my PSP CFW. i installed the kxploitpatcher with no problems, then the 3.52 M33 CREATOR with no problems, but then ran into an error with the 3.52 M33UPDATE step, where it tells me that my psar is incorrect. i've done everything perfectly fine, so i assume it's either my PSP or Sony 4GB memory card pro duo that's causing the hassle. i'm thinking of using the 3.52 M33 Winstaller instead, but i got scared after the intro warning about brickin the system, because if it's possible to throw $94 out the window, it'll happen, with MY luck. i just got my psp, and it's a 100% working 1.50 one, so i don't wanna do anything coocoo that has me looking into my RECOVERY options. just want the safest way to get 3.52 M33-4. what do i do? will a smaller memory card do the trick? thanks

Well, I'm not entirely sure you can jump directly into patch 4 of 3.52, i think you need to do the base version of 3.52m33 than apply the -4 patch. I haven't done the 3.52 yet, but I remember seeing posts about it.

I would have to say go with the installer it is much easier. The bricking part is just a warning so you dont go blaming whoever if you brick.

i'm installing the 3.52 and THEN the 4, but i can't get passed successfully installing the 3.52 before i get to the 4

use the installer, then? does my psp need to be in any particular state before i use that winstaller? because, so far, i've successfully installed the kxploitpatcher and the 3.52 M33 CREATOR. the system properties in the PSP still states that it's a 1.5 FW. is it okay to run the winstaller on it right now, or should i make some changes first?

and something else before i try installing the CFW: are there any strange problems with making gamesaves, or setting up and connecting to my password-required internet connection, or playing games online with others in lobbies, or reverting back to the official 1.5 FW I started at, if i install this CFW? thanks

then do i dismiss trying to install the updates manually, and just go with the winstaller? i assume i reformat the card with the psp and then run the winstaller, correct?

you dont HAVE to format the card
and yeh easyinstaller is the easiest
