1 - I f***ed up =[
Alright well, I made some really stupid adjustments to my PSP by accident... in short, I accidentally upgraded from 3.90 M-33 to the current when I thought I selected the UMD for my family guy UMD but instead I selected to upgrade.
Now that I'm at OFW again, I have no idea what to do. I used a friend's Pandora's Battery to mod my PSP so I'm stuck with my normal battery, he did all of the soft modding so I'm stuck in confusion.
If anyone could be kind enough to list the steps needed for the downgrade to 3.90 M-33 again, that would be greatly appreciated.

isnt 3.90 the most recent firmware out there? so if you pressed update, wouldnt it say "your firmware is 3.90. there is no need to upgrade"? |

you dont need to use the desperatar app
use the harmodding part to make the battery and then just use catb50'd MMS installer
it uses windows dos box so its really easy
then just put the memory stick in the psp and put in the battery and viola

Ok, here are the steps I've taken so far:
Cut the little metal thingy on my slim's battery (1200mAH). A guide said I have to stroke this gold thing a few times, but I haven't done that.
Now, when I put my Battery into my PSP and turn it on, a solid green light stays and the screen stays black. I don't think any of the buttons work.
Note: I am running 3.80 OFW at the moment, what's the next step?

catb50 ain't working, keeps saying I'm putting an invald drive letter.
Edit: I decided to use TotalnewbiInstaller to install MMS files. ?After it was done, I turned on my PSP, the green light was still there and there was no picture on the screen. After I put in the memory stick, the wireless and MS loading light kept going on and off. It stayed like that for a minute. I got tired and decided to test my PSP only hooked up to the AC adapter rather than taking power from the battery. I took out the battery and the Memory stick and tyurned it on, the screen stayed black and the green light just stayed there.
Did I do something wrong?
