1 - 5.55 CFW not too far away?? <---FALSE HOPE
i just stumbled onto this article and have actually seen the newest PSARdumper and it's said to be able to dump and decrypt the new 5.55 ofw...here's what i read on it: PSP Custom Firmware 5.55 ? | PSP Custom Firmware - PSP CFW
edit: i found this also, is this or does this actually work or could??? lol, worded that weird but i've been up since 4am, lol...found this on a search i was doing: If you really want to play a 5.55 game, then make a Pandora Battery and Despertar del Cementerio v8. With Despertar del Cementario you can boot into 5.00 m33-6 by going to the "Test M33" option. You can then update your PSP to Official Firmware 5.55 without fear. You'll have the best of both worlds.

i think it would work, because i have used the test m33 function on bricked psps,it allows you to run m33 regardless of your flash files just make sure to have pandora at hand so if it doesnt work you can go back down to m33 |

you can always use a pandora to go back (unless you have an unhackable psp) |

look if you have a pandora then aside from hardware problems you can pretty much do whatever to your psp and you won't break it |

I've never had experience with that, but even if you install ofw if you have a pandora you can do whatever you want |

i was thinking that too, but it would be a pain to keep going back down then back to ofw to play games that needed it...
but what is this about, the MOHH exploit?? they say that 5.55 is vulnerable too but i've never heard about and this link has a youtube vid but i got no speakers here at work to hear what it's saying. PSP Firmware 5.55 Vulnerable to MOHH Exploit, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks |
