Hi, this has been bugging me for a while now.

After installing the 5.50 GEN-A my internet browser got bugged. Whenever i launch the browser, a blue background pops up with text in several languages. What it tells me, basically, is that my settings are corrupted and i need to press O to restore them. But that doesn't do anything. All the PSP actually does is stay on that screen and switching it off doesn't work.

Now, i haven't tested it in games, but i know that it goes as far as to tell me whether the WLAN is switched on or not.

So, how should i fix this?

Also, i have a 1000 model, if that matters.

Enter the recovery menu by shutting down your PSP entirely. Start it back up while holding the R trigger.

Go to Advanced -> Format flash1 and reset settings. This should work.
