psp + cfw + umd - files = iso file + psp go + cfw (when it exists) + previous ripped iso file = pure fun and pleasure for everyone |
Oh, ok. I thought you were saying there was an official way of doing it. I think there should have been an official way for everyone to put their UMDs on the Go though, not just for the proud owners of CFW.

I don't think you should have to re-buy a game you already own, especially since it's on the same system. It won't fill $ony's pockets, but I think it would make their customers more happy. Some companies actually care about the customer, and it would be nice if they were one of them.

Any one who thinks the PSPgo is overpriced, they're wrong.
Go buy a brand new PSP3000- 300NZD
Brand new 16GB memory stick- 170NZD
PSPgo's are selling here for 430-499NZD.
Then you get a USB with it, you usually have to pay extra.
Then the price isn't as bad as you think, you guys are thinking of it just as a PSP, it's not. Also has a 16GB SSD, which you could potentially replace that.

but sony hates the people who buy their products, so i dont see it happening |

PSP 3000: £124.99
16GB Memory Stick: £50
Total: £174.99
PSP Go: £199.99

In USD:
PSPGo - $245
PSP 3000 - $170
16GB MSPD - $59
Total - $229
Plus you have to take into account that the 3000 can play UMDs where the Go can't, and the option to get cheaper/used UMD games. The Go is stuck with whatever price $ony puts on the PSN.

And the 3000's screen is fucked anyway.
If Typhoon's exploit is ever released, or any equivalent, I'll buy a Go.
Until then, it would be worthless to me. I'm an emulator guy, classic games, not PSP games and hurting hands. |
