Well. I've got a friend that wants to update his CFW, to play later games without using a decrypter. Currently, he's on 5.00 M33-2 (almost positive. I do know for certain that he's on 5.00 M33-X.) As I mentioned in the title, he's on a slim, which I do not know the model of the motherboard. (Though I believe that shouldn't matter, as he's already installed CFW on it, correct?)

So, tomorrow I'll be helping him out, and currently this was the first guide that I came across when searching, and seems pretty good. Now, that guide seems to install to 5.50 GEN-A. Will this be able to play the newer games, or should I continue to update it? (From what I see, I must update in the correct order, as well? Such as From GEN-A, to GEN-B, B2, C, etc.)

Update to 5.00M33-6, then update directly to 5.50 GEN D the use the quick patch to get to 5.50 GEN D2.

Alright. Are these the correct files to use?

So I'll install these in their correct order - M33-6, GEN-D, GEN-D2. If they're not the correct files - could you point me to the correct ones?
