1 - Help with running emulators on CFW
Hi guys,
I have just recently upgraded to 5.0 M33-6 and now when I try to run my NesterJ (NES emulator) and SNESTYL (SNES Emulator) they don't work and I get that error message that the game can't be played.
I'm told I need a 1.50 add on for the CFW and goku2778 has been a great help but I still can't get it to work as the 1.50 add on I downloaded keeps telling me that the 150.PBP file (that I need to place in the root of the stick) is non existent.
Can anyone help so I can run the emulators? It's pretty much the only thing I play! |

Have you tried another 150.PBP?

DFS....i gave him like 3 or 4...he said he was placing the in the mp root folder when i said root of them memory stick...
i said to place it where you see the psp folder, seplugins folder, etc. not in any folders...so i don't know now where he left off...
i gave him the 150.pbp file again and the installer from dl.qj.net...i tested them and they work...so i don't know what else to say
edit...here's a pic of what i meant by "root"...it should sit there among those folders

lol, I'm not a hardcore gamer, so when you said root of the memory stick, I assumed the folder that said "MPROOT" haha. Oh well.
Thanks Goku, it's all working fine now. |

i use snes, nesterj, picodrive, and an atari 2600 emulator and they all run...you just need the latest emulators, the same you would have to use on a slim since they can't use 1.5 at all...there's no 1.5 kernel for Gen firmwares after 5.02gen.
these emulators you'd have to use, or similar: PSP Emulators, Emulators for the PSP, PSP Hacks - PSP Slim Hacks |
