How to Install CW Cheats On You PSP

I m using CWCHEAT _0_1_8 On 3.40 OE-A

Ok I have searched but not found a thread like this so here:

1: Go here to Download Here is 1.8 Latest version

Warning: If you have installed other prxs before then don't do step 2 just copy the prx files not the txt then just edit the txt Go Here (2.71 SE, 3.02 OE, 3.03 OE Plugins Tutorial) If you don't know how

2: There is a folder called MS_ROOT Open it and copy what it has to your memory stick ROOT (which is the main folder not the PSP folder)

3: Goto Recovery Mode (power up your psp while pressing R)

4: Press X over cwcheatpops.prx [POPS] it should say ENABLED

5: Press X over cwcheat.prx [GAME] it should say ENABLED

6: exit recovery and enjoy

To run it in the game let the game load for a little while then hold Select
to see the menu

where does the database file go? Been searching around, and i can't seem to find it. And yes, i SWEAR i looked before i asked here.

EDIT :: After yet more searching (this time on QJ) i found out that the db goes in the seplugins folder NEVERMIND!

this will work on all backed up umd games. And if you set it up to work with pops, it'll work on that too.

hey i might sound like a major noob right now but if i delete the cheatpops.prx file will it skrew up cwcheat coz i want more prx's..... i dont need cwcheat to work in iso's coz i dont have any.... thanks in advance....

Hey i just got the firmware version 3.03 oe-b. would that work for? if not would you guys recomend the 3.4 software?

i went from the 2.81>3.03>1.5>3.03 oe> 3.03 oea> 3.03 oe-a> 3.03 oe-b, what wuld u guys recomend to go to next if any? does the 3.03 oe-b work well for socom hacks?

ok, I now got the 3.40 OE-A and got the cwcheat on there, thanks for all the help guys. I do have another question, I know it comes with some codes on it, how do you put more codes on the cwcheats

There are to ways
1. Download a program called CWcheat Database Editor and edit the two .db files

2. Use the CWCheats on the psp Cheat Searcher feature......basically a hex editor *WARNING YOU COULD FREEZE YOUR GAME THIS WAY*

Here is how the Cheat Searcher works

Select it from the menu then you will get a new menu.....

From their pick "START A NEW "
- "FIXED VALUE" * IF YOU KNOW THE VALUE YOU WISH TO CHANGE
- "DIFFERENCE" * IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE VALUE

Then exit the menu and change the value in the game

go back to the Cheat Searcher menu new select the "CONTINUE A SEARCH"

*****IMPORTANT NOTE*****
PICK THE SAME ONE AS BEFORE

- "FIXED VALUE"
- "DIFFERENCE"

Ex. if you "START A NEW " "FIXED VALUE"
YOU MUST "CONTINUE A SEARCH" "FIXED VALUE"

This was a problem I experienced with the 1.7 REV C VERSION and I don't know if it is fixed yet................

Keep on doing this until you get a few codes (under 10)

then Press Triangle then select your code then Press X

Here you can enter the VALUE you want Press X Again

Now the code is in the Select Cheats menu as NEW CHEAT ##

You go on the cheat and press Square to change the VALUE to something else.......
