Default avi player.. do any work without crashing?

ive downloaded two different version of pmppsp, but both seem to crash after a short time. does anyone know of another one that works well?

just convert your videos to .mp4 because there is no stable avi player for the psp because of bitrates

i was trying to avoid doing that. i just wanted to download some avis on my psp and play them directly.

use ImTOO psp converter, its great, but not freeware

Yeah. Kinda sucks, doesn't it? How expensive would it be for Sony to get the PSP DivX certified and be able to play generic AVI DivX/XviD? I don't expect it to support all files out there, all the DivX certified hardware I've owned had problems with some files, but at least provide basic support for it... Or seeing that it's already licensed for MPEG-4 SP and MP3, how about just adding support for the AVI container format?

avi is really popular, so its kinda odd that sony wouldnt go for it.
