Use a program like MagicIso to add the files into an ISO image.
And just curious, but how are you ripping your UMDs?

You have M33-3, so press select and go to USB device and press right so if says UMD Disk instead of Memory Stick, them pop in your game and click USB mode while connected to a computer and your game will pop us as a ISO file, and that file is your ISO, i figured that out right after posting this, then afterwards, i used Icetea to convert the ISO into an Eboot.

Good job. But you don't want to convert your ISO into an eboot. Thats if the ISO is of a PS1 game. You keep the UMD ISO as an ISO or change it to a CSO

yeah i did that and then they were too big for my mem stick so i tried using NetHost via IR Shell and it keeps freezing, so i'll just save up for a bigger mem stick.

@ smojaz101:

I'm trying to rip one of my own UMDs and PSPfiler (v4.00 k3) hangs after I name the iso and select "ENTER"

It's been sitting here for 5mins with no Memory Stick activity and the UMD hasn't even spun-up either...

I tried using PSPFiler v4 and v5.1+, but both of them gave me "This game could not be started" errors..

any suggestions?

Yeah, use the XMB's VSH Menu and rip it over USB to your PC instead, if you're having trouble with Filer.

While on the XMB, press the 'Select' button and the VSH Menu should appear with some options. Go to 'USB Device' and change it to 'UMD', then exit the menu. Connect your PSP to your PC with a USB cable and enable your USB connection. Now, instead of connecting to your Memory Stick, you will have direct access to your UMD drive, which, if loaded with a UMD will display a single file called 'UMD9660.iso'. Drag this file off onto your PC someplace, rename it, and voila! You've got an ISO! You may then want to use a program like UMDGen or similar to edit/compress the ISO into a CSO to save space. Make sure to go back into the VSH menu with 'Select' after you've finished and disabled your USB connection and set your USB Device back over to Memory Stick!

Sweet, I'll try that now.
Copying: <6mins later>
loading... wow a LOT faster than when reading from the UMD. I might do this with all my games

Thanks for the help.
