Default What Just Happend??

ok, after opening it almost all the way i found out that when i was cutting on the bottom i had cut through the silver packaging barely and it caused a spark with whatever was inside. im guessing it was the led/ni-cad/whetever actually holds the charge.(?)

also, it looks like the whole motherboard is incased in this protective silver wrapping, do i take it out of that?

Forget it - grab a camera, start filming and throw it in a fire.
You need a new battery and walmart has them.

You could have saved a lot of money had you purchased one of these instead...

I just wish everyone modding their batteries for the first time would film it. If your successful, it can become a good tutorial film, if not, I'd love to see the "Spark & Smoke" and the reaction. Come on folks...

Damn I should have done a vid cause it only took me 3-5 min. to open it. I used a box cutting knife, the one where you can adjust the height of the blade, just when the tip of the blade is sticking out, that is all you need, then start slicing lightly on the crack of the battery. Maybe next time, I'll buy another battery and show you guys .
