Default What version of CW for used for most PSP homebrew games and applications?

Hey I have the 3.71 M33-2. I have tried installing different homebrew games/applications but they give me the corrupted data error on my PSP. Which version do you use? And which is the most best for homebrew?(Also I have problems with downgrading it to 1.5 as after I do, it says that there need to be a system update to start anything o.0 so I just click anything,ex. game, application and my screen turns messed up and it restarts back to my regular version 3.71 M33-2. Also which sites you use?

Sincerely,
Jason

I use 3.90 because it is the most recent and very few apps dont work on it. I use:

3.90, it's arguably not the most "stable" but it's the latest CFW.
