MT-Viewer allows the user to read a plain text file, like a FAQ sheet, in mid-game. To use it within iR Shell, press L + select after a UMD / POPS / Homebrew program is running to access the iR Shell dashboard without closing that program, go to directory view, navigate to the text file, press start and X. Just pressing X on it would attempt to load Bookr, which can't be multitasked, while MT-Viewer can.
You can also load pictures in mid-game with iR Shell; great for maps and such. It's much better than the POPS document.dat file, since the text and pictures can be seen as they are, without having to be merged into a single file, and there's no page limitation.
