Default OE Isofs under "UMD ISO MODE"

Could someone tell me what putting your psp on "OE Isofs" does?

Mine is usually in "M33 driver" mode, however, I recently checked and it seems it for some reason put itself on OE Isofs....did it do that for a reason? maybe to enable plugins or something, or to play a certain game? I'm not really sure why it would do that.....

Any input would help, thank you.
