2.60 compatable DooM

I need a link to 2.60 FW compatable version of Doom. I have been emailed the WAD files from Grim54x (thank you sooo much) but i am not sure what versions of Doom work with my firmware. I was told that there is an SNES version and i downloaded that from a site that i will keep anonymous, but when i unzipped it, it was a SMD file and i know that the only kind compatable is BIN so I didn't even put it on. Please help me. (i say that a lot!

that SMD file is a SNES rom. use the SNES emulator to run it.
