UPDATE: Added user notes for 5.50 Gen. Nethost added at bottom.
Currently adding a guide for nethost. Pics will be added when Nethost is added, and i don't know when that will be, but i hope it will be soon.
I have not tryed this with 5.50 GEN but im assuming that it will work the same as it does with M33. If you have 5.50 GEN, and does not work, try the patch to see if it works. IRSHELL patch for 5.50GEN
This guide is created for people who don't like swapping out game to and from the memory stick or just want to load load some stuff off the computer. Also a remote joy guide(optional) for people who want to view the PSP screen on PC.
First, if you don't have IRshell, download it
here
Step1: Connect psp to pc via USB.
Step2: Go to the device manager and find PSP Type B, and click on Update Driver. then click on Update Manually. (Right click on "My Computer" and go to properties, XP: click on hardware. VISTA: its on the side bar)
Step3: Browse for the folder on the Desktop that says "driver"
(the download link is,
http://irshell.org/site/index.php?op...river&Itemid=8 )
Step4: Now go through the instructions on the screen and the driver should be installed.
If any issues like it saying "driver alreaddy up to date" then uninstall the driver then reinstall it(first unplug the psp then replug)
Step5: Open the remotejoy GUI folder.
(The link is,
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service )
Step6: Run the file "Start-USBHostFS_PC.bat" That is the usbhost file.
Step7: Run IRSHELL, and find the icon "toggle usbhost", if it work, there will be an icon on the bottom of the psp screen to let you know.
Step8: Put all your PSP files in the Directory "RemotejoySDL GUI\PC\PSP"
(You will have to create the folder your self) This incudes ISOs,CSOs, and if you want, homebrew and psx EBOOTS. media types are really skippy and just not right for this.
Now the remote joy.
Run the file "Start-PSPSH.bat", Then run the file "Start-RemoteJoy-FS-FPS"
Next just run the icon "toggle usbhost" onthe psp to view the screen.
(there are other remote joy features.)
You should be set to go.
Post any problems encountered and i will try my best to help.
Note1: For remotejoy psp screen to pc..it has to be enabled
Should look like this "Display Redirect to PC vis usbhost0: Disabled"
Change to "Display Redirect to PC vis usbhost0: Enabled"
let me know about problems with this.
heres what someone did to get it to work, just incase you have issues

If you have 5.50-b or higher :
1- Install IRSHELL 5.0 ---> http://irshell.org/site/index.php?op...l-5.0&Itemid=8
2- Install IRSHELL 5.0 Gen patch ---> PSP Downloads | iR Shell 5.50 GEN Patch
3- Connect your psp to your pc via usb.
4- Copy all files that you see in the rar to memory stick's root. 5- Then first start IRshell GEN-D patch ..
( Its important if you try to start IRshell before patching it , it will give an error when you turn on your psp and you wont be able to go to XMB.. If you did that mistake then you should use hellcats recovery to toggle usb. Then delete all the IRshell files. After that follow the steps. )
6- Start IRshell & enjoy
Btw if you having problem finding PSP B and installing driver .
