Newbie problems.. "the game could not be started"
I just was able to get my psp 1001 jailbroken, and I've been trying to get different homebrew games onto it. I think I'm doing it right, putting it in PSP>GAME> but everytime I try to start the game, I get an error message that says "the game could not be started."
I'm using version 3.71 M33-3. Is there something I'm not doing? I've also tried getting an emulator going, and it seems to just load, then go back to my GAME screen.
Lastly, there seem to be some "corrupted" files under games, but the only files I currently have under GAME are: despertar_cementerio, pandora_battery, and pandora_battery%. Is this normal?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Also, i would suggest updating to 5.00m33-6 or 5.50 GEN-B.....3.71m33 is pretty outdated.

I can only find 5.50 Gen A. Is that ok too?
Also, I got a Gameboy emulator from this site. Can I use any Gameboy ROM with it now? And does anyone know of a tutorial to use the emulator?

Ok. I'm up to 5.50 GEN-B, and I've gotten the 1.5 Kernel. For some reason, when I try to play a game, it thinks, then goes back to the main screen and says The game could not be started... Am I doing something wrong? It does need to go under PSP>GAME right? The game I'm working on getting to work right now is called Super Mario Smash Kart.. |
