you can grab the 500.pbp file from my sig along with the 5.00m33-6 update. place the 500.pbp file in the update folder along with the eboot and place it in your game folder...then run it

Thank you goku2778,

I've done what you've instructed, i.e. put the 500.PBP file into the UPDATE folder containing EBOOT.PBP and run it with my PSP i.e. Game-->Memory Stick--> Run. But when I tried looking into system information, it still reads 3.71 M33-2.

When I run it, the following happens

1) it goes to the "PSP Playstation Portable" white screen

2) it then goes into a black screen with the following

2a) Unpacking... done
Please wait...

2b) Battery has to be at least 78%

3) it then goes into a black "Sony Computer Entertainment" screen

4) Returns to "Saved Data Utility"

Should it be like that? Did I do anything wrong? Please advise.

Cheers

When I open UPDATE again in USB Mode, additional files appeared

u235.prx
DP.PBP
PUPD.PBP

Should it be like that? Thanks again

Thanks xavis75211,

So I should simply ignore what the system information says?

I can now remove the UPDATE folder and it wouldn't affect the usage of my PSP?
